Uplifting Trans Voices Worldwide
On March 31st, we honor the resilience, brilliance, and courage of trans, nonbinary, and gender-diverse people across the world.
Visibility is not just about being seen—it’s about being recognized, valued, protected, and celebrated for who we truly are. While we celebrate trans joy, we must also confront the alarming threats facing our communities today. From rising anti-trans legislation and erasure campaigns in the United States, to systemic violence and displacement in the Democratic Republic of Congo, to the daily struggles for survival in the Global South—trans people are under attack simply for existing.
These crises highlight why visibility must come with solidarity, protection, and action. We especially uplift the stories of those whose voices are too often unheard—trans youth, trans people of color, Indigenous trans communities, and those navigating conflict zones and restrictive regimes. Their courage moves us. Their lives matter.
The InterPride Global Trans Task Force reaffirms its commitment to fighting for dignity, safety, and justice for all trans people, everywhere. ️⚧️
